I have XP Pro installed on laptop & I want to install Win 7. How do I back up & save drivers to Disk? Thanks

first you need to check the laptop will run windows7, look on the makers website and check if drivers are available for windows7, and while your at it check for drivers for xp, its a lot easier than trying to copy them from the installed os

even if the laptop meets the minimum requirments for windows7 it doesnt mean it will take, but if theres drivers on the website for 7 it will even if it means having to update the bios.
