Never tried them myself but i believe theres a program on ultimate boot cd, or ive seen a few vids on you tube of programs that will allow you to boot from disc and reset it, like i say never tried it but if you aint getting in any otherr way its got to be worth a try.

I don't get why many people don't just boot into safe mode. Yes there will be times where you can't and will need a program like Ophcrack but the first they should be told is to boot into safe mode.

Default xp password recovery

Em...
The better way is to use some kinds of password recovery tool to reset your Windows XP Login password.
I want to commend two of these.
First is Ophcrack, which is by far the best no charge software. If you want to save money, you can use it. But there is a condition that you should master computer technical so well because of its complexity on operation.
The next is Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0, which is now popular in the market due to simple manipulation and high quality. It would reset your lost password in Windows Vista quickly. In my eyes, Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0 is worth of using it. Have a try!

Personally i would avoid theses like the plague, besides trinity 3.3 is free.
