YouTube has a very user-friendly interface for uploading your own videos. As long as you have a video file you want to share, you should have no problems posting your content to the site.
First you will need to register an account with YouTube. This option is available at the top of the site’s home page, and simply requires you to enter a few bits of personal information. After you have registered, click the “Upload” button on the home page.
There are two options for uploading content. The first is the default, single-file upload manager. This is the easiest option for videos that are less than 100 megabytes or 10 minutes in length. Enter a title, description and tags for your video, and select a category for it. Scroll to the bottom and click “Upload a video.”
The next screen will ask you to locate the file on your computer. Click “Browse” and find the clip on your hard drive. Click “OK” when you are done. Press the “Upload Video” button, and YouTube will take several minutes to post your file. YouTube also has a tool for uploading multiple videos at once, which works very similarly to the single-file method.
