Setting up Outlook Express is a very easy process that only requires a few steps. You can access the program from a shortcut on your desktop, or from the “Start” menu. If it is your first time opening Outlook, you will be asked if you want to use it as your default e-mail client. If you plan on using Outlook exclusively, click “Yes.”
You will immediately be asked to setup an account. Select “Cancel,” as we will be coming back to this step later in the process. When that window has closed, select “Tools” from the top menu bar and then click “Accounts.” Go to the “Mail” tab in the window that opens and, click “Add,” followed by “Mail.”
