AntiVirus Review
Hello and welcome to BeYourOwnIT virus software review. So there are a lot of virus removal softwares out there. We’d probably reviewed the seven or eight of them, AVG, PC Tools, obviously the AntiVirus Plus that we have here in our review, and the whole slew of other free ones.
What we found is we shipped away the free trials and the free versions that you pay a little bit less for but eventually you need to pay for their full version, We bought a bunch of them, compared full version, complete edition and picked a couple of winners.
As you see at BeYourOwnIT.com, read the review section. In some cases there a couple of different ones that we recommend. In spyware, we have a couple of different ones. Antivirus… we’re going to have AntiVirus Plus. What we’re going to add here is the full version of AVG. It’s not here right now but I’ll probably add it later tonight and give it a score of four and a half stars.
Obviously, AVG is extremely popular. The only thing I don’t want about it is the reduced functionality with the free edition. Once you step up to the full‑paid edition, things seem to work pretty smooth; but maybe a little bit more affordable option.
What’s also extremely effective is AntiVirus Plus. We have links to both. Download it and check it out. Also view the site. It’s a little bit more affordable than AVG. It scans your computer for viruses, cleans your computer, and completely removes even the deeply rooted viruses, also protects you against spyware, adware and rootkits, blocks malware‑related websites and protects against tricky and drive by downloads.
It carries out all these operations quickly and effectively without eating up any system resources. That’s the big thing. AntiVirus Plus rivals Norton and McAfee in these areas. It’s the biggest thing is…
The few negatives that we saw are program updates can be disruptive and minimize windows you’re working in. That’s a tiny thing. An older computer’s virus and malware scans can take a long time. That’s true with any antivirus software, though.
It does occasionally find harmless files as malware, such as Microsoft Updates, which you want to be careful for. You never want to delete anything without actually looking at it anyway. So take those small things out of the equation, AntiVirus Plus really is an excellent software. It’s what we use in the office. We have many, many clients using it.
If you want to learn more, just view their site. Once you have a high quality antivirus, a good spyware removal software and some privacy protection these days, usually when you combine everything it’s about a hundred bucks or 120 bucks maybe if you get all three pieces of software.
I’ll tell you that the minimum that we typically charge spyware or virus issues is 150 bucks or more in cases. This way you protect your computer from aggregating a harmful virus, or losing your files, losing your productivity. If you do business in your computer, you could be losing money.
So, people oftentimes want to know which antivirus to use. AntiVirus Plus is definitely one that we recommend, along with AVG which we’ll add to this list as well; but I still think AntiVirus Plus edges it out because it doesn’t seem to bog down my PC, as much when I use it and it just works great overall.
