Ever wanted to adjust how your taskbar displays its information?

BeYourOwnIT walks you through using and organizing the new task bar in Windows 7, showing you how to reorder the Quicklaunch icons and the keyboard shortcuts to launch them.

The first 5 icons on your taskbar are known as “Quicklaunch” buttons and the Windows key + 1-5 launch them in the order that they appear starting at the windows menu button. Clicking down on one and holding it and dragging it is how you reorder them. The Windows key + number hotkey is based on order not on icon so if you change the order the launch command changes as well.
