Using Internet Explorer Protected Mode Browse Safe

Want to protect your computer from unwanted spyware and viruses? Internet Explorer makes it easier to browse safer with Protected Mode. What Protected Mode can do for you is prevent access to your computer from spyware and other harmful temporary files. All you need to do is go to “Tools” and then click on “Internet Options.”

From here, click on the “Security” tab where you will see an option called “Enable Protected Mode.” Make sure that this box is checked.
You can also adjust your security settings just about this option in order to control how much or how little security you prefer.

Enabling Protecting Mode restricts access from your Internet Explorer to the rest of the World Wide Web. This prevents perhaps visiting the wrong site and getting “spyware bombed.” Be Your Own IT has not seen any harmful effects of using Protected Mode and gives you as a user a piece of mind knowing your browsing is safe.
