Welcome to the Be Your Own IT web design school. Here you will learn valuable real world advice on website design, search engine optimization, conversion path optimization and so much more. (Don’t worry if some of those terms don’t make sense yet they will)
Designing your very own website doesn’t have to be impossible or expensive, with all the great tools out there almost anyone can put together a pretty nice looking website. We started where you are, with an interest in learning web design, for us it was to make some cash, to build a website for our business at the time luckily for us we caught on and now we can share it all with you.
After you complete this course you will be able to set up your own web hosting account, setup websites on Linux and Windows servers and even create databases and install advanced programs like Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress, and Vbulletin. The key is learning the basics and not getting overwhelmed, that’s what we are doing here with our Website Design School.
Below we will be updating core lessons frequently, in the beginning (august 28th 2009) the lessons will seem space but tht is because we are busy making them all, core lessons, things everyone should know will always be found on this page, then more advanced lessons, tweaks, and customization lessons will be coming to you via email so make sure if you haven’t to sign up for the program.
