Drupal is a great content management system for anyone who wants to create a website on a limited budget. If you have already set up a web domain and hosting as shown in our previous videos, return to the Go Daddy home screen. Hover over “Hosting” and click on “My Hosting Account.”

You will be shown a list of your websites. Click “Manage Account” next to the domain you want to work on. Go to the “Content” tab and click “Go Daddy Hosting Connection.” You will be shown a list of applications that can be used on your site. Click “Content Management” and select “Drupal.” Select “Install Now” on the next screen and (if prompted) select the domain you want to add Drupal to, followed by “Continue.”

Leave “Drupal” as the database description and enter a database password. Click “Next” to proceed. On the next screen, put Drupal at the root of your site by deleting the text after your domain name and clicking “Next.” Enter your desired admin name, password and e-mail and press “Finish” to complete the process. Once Drupal is fully installed, you will receive a message at the e-mail address you specified.
